Culver’s Night April 27th

culver'sCulver’s has generously agreed to support SAYSA on April 27th by donating 10% of sales from 4 – 8 pm.

Cards will be given out at Challenger Practices this week.  Take the card to Culver’s and give it to the cashier while you are ordering and our club will benefit from your meal.

Registration for the 2015-2016 Soccer Season

Online Registration begins on April 15, 2015 for the Fall 2015 – Spring 2016 Season!

 

If you are interested in registering in person we have two Open Houses coming up in May.  (There will be uniforms available to try on.)

Saturday, May 2, 2015 from 9:00 am to Noon
at the Senior Center

Tuesday, May 19, 2015 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm
at the Kegonsa Field

Become a Soccer Referee!

I you are over 13 years old and want to have fun and earn some extra money as a soccer referee, please read the linked flyer.  New referees are needed and its a great way to stay involved in soccer and help our local teams.

There will be a few pre-season New Referee Courses offered this spring.

The place to start is www.wisref.org

There will be a local clinic offered in Oregon on March 21st and 28th.

There are several steps that each Referee Candidate will need accomplish before attending the course:

1.    REGISTER FOR THE COURSE: Go to www.wisref.org and click “Referee Courses.” Select “New Referee Course Online.” Choose the course by clicking the green course number and follow the registration steps. Online payment is required using a credit or debit card at the time of registration

2.    SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETE THE ONLINE TRAINING: Complete the online training (estimated at 8 hours) BEFORE attending the course. The online training can only be access after registration. Instructions for accessing the online training are available in the course details.

3.    PURCHASE SOME BASIC REFEREE EQUIPMENT: Bring the referee equipment listed in the course details to use during our practice sessions at the course.
